Clyde Owes Paintings were chosen by the NATIONAL PARK
FOUNDATION - ARTS FOR THE PARKS as the TOP 100 in the THOUSANDS of entrants competing for the 1st Prize of $50,000.00
in the years of 1995, 1999, 2004, etc.
Entries came from all 50 states in the United States as well as Sweden, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Japan, Canada, Saipan, Germany, and Brazil.
A True World Competition.
Out of the thousands of entries, the jurors narrowed the field to 200 finalists.
From the 200 original paintings the "TOP 100" paintings showcased were
selected.
It is a huge honor to be rated the "TOP 100 ARTIST" in the world competition once! Clyde Owes made it several times in a 10 year period!!
His Daughter Melody and I are very happy to keep his Legacy alive.
